GETTING TO AND FROM JWMS
MORNING DROP-OFF

Please DO NOT pull in to the designated bus lane to drop-off your child(ren) in the morning. The buses need to pull up and unload in this area, please use the spaces shown in blue on the map, or drop off a block away from the school if possible. There are crossing guards at most major intersections around the middle school.

Parents/caregivers should consider coming in from Franklin Avenue to drop off curbside along Walnut Lane on the middle school side of the road ONLY. DO NOT drop your child off along Walnut Lane on the “high school” side and have them cross the street mid-block.
AFTERNOON PICK-UP

YES! You CAN use the bus zone in front of JWMS to pick up your children. There are three small buses and the NJ Transit Loop Bus that use the bus zone so please be aware of them if you’re sitting along the curb. All of the other buses are staged on the closed portion of Walnut Lane (closed between Franklin Avenue & Houghton) daily 2:45pm-3:45pm.

Please pick up your child along the “school side” of the road; do not have children cross the street mid-block.

You CAN sit in your car along Walnut Lane to pick-up your middle schooler and high-schooler, just do not leave your car parked and unattended.

You can also pick-up your child along Guyot Avenue, but please do not double-park
